Amanda is a Managing Associate and holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Securities Law from the University of London, and a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta. She studied Anglo-American law and European Constitutional law during her Erasmus Exchange at the Università degli Studi di Perugia, in Italy. She also holds a qualification from the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners in relation to trust law and management, and virtual financial assets. She is also a director of Bastion Corporate Services, the Firm’s corporate services arm.
Experience
As Managing Associate, she is responsible for managing the Firm’s Corporate, M&A and Finance and Business Transactions practices. Amanda’s main practice areas include corporate law, capital markets, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate and private equity transactions, mostly with a cross-border element. She regularly assists clients on corporate and finance law, due diligence and deal structuring across a variety of industries including financial services, real estate, hospitality and gaming. She is actively involved in capital markets, assisting clients in security listings on the Malta Stock Exchange and advising listed entities on corporate governance.
Amanda also regularly assists clients in relation to civil law matters with a focus on real estate.
